I Give My Dogs Iams For Breakfast

Like myself and a lot of owners out there, I like to give my dog dry food for breakfast and then a wet pouch for dinner. I find this varies their diet and also makes things very simple and uncomplicated when feeding him in the morning. I simply pour out a bowl of iams dog food and my little Jack Russell terrier is straight to it eating it all up. What I like about this dog food brand is that they use whole wheat in their food so it's full of fibre and goodness.

Iams Jack Russell

Iams provides a range of foods for pets and they also have specifically made pouches for small, medium, and large dogs. I was impressed that they have different flavours as well so that I'm not giving my terrier the same food every day. This has allowed me to mix things up a bit and I usually leave him a large amount of food in the bowl so that he can snack on it during the day as well.

I like dry food because it is easy to give and also not very messy. If they spill the bowl over then it is simple to sweep it up or hoover it away.

I have actually been giving him this brand since he was a puppy and he thoroughly enjoys it and cannot wait until I pour out the food in the morning. It's really funny because when he hears the bag rustling he goes absolutely mental and starts jumping up really excited.

My next door neighbour has a cat and through my recommendation she also uses this brand. Iams cat food has exactly the same range for cats and comes in similar flavours. She also gives it to her cat for breakfast and then feeds her a wet pouch in the evening.

I think this is a pretty standard routine with us pet owners and I thought I would ask around to see if anyone else uses this brand or has success with another one. The reason is because I'm always on the lookout for a different type of pet food and am willing to give anything a try.
