Sirius of the Week for August 13 - 19, 2000
Rocky is a deaf 9 month old Smooth Fox Terrier mix. He was born deaf,
but his family didn't know he was deaf when they got him. He is
smarter and faster at learning than any dog his person-mom has ever
had (including her border collies who, in her opinion, are the
Einstein's of the canine world!). Rocky does very well with the
sign language his people have taught him.
Rocky is also a BIG baby; he loves to snuggle and is the only dog who
lives in the house with his humans. He loves to take dad's spot in
the bed next to his mom when dad leaves in the morning.
