Sirius of the Week for Apr. 25 - May 1, 2010

This week our Sirius is Montana:

Montana

And his person-mom writes,

This is "Montana Wolf Sobaka". He is 4 months old and weighs about 40 pounds already. He already will sit, eat, come when called, eat, play ball, eat, lay down on demand, eat and eat and eat. This baby's stomach is a bottomless pit!! He loves hot dogs, chicken, pig ears, pizza, and of course his dog food. His favorite chew toy is my Jack Russell Terrier, Lady Turbo. He is soft, fluffy, loveable, graceful, and has a deaf ear when called at times. He is very independent, likes to get his point across, and loves to watch TV (especially the doggie shows).

My house used to be a place of quiet and neatness. Now it is filled with Montana and Lady roughing it up, chewed up stuff all over the place, toilet paper wound off the roll and drug throughout the house, stuffings pulled out of the dog beds and toys everywhere. They have a toy box, and you would think they would put all the toys (or what's left of them) away when they get finished with them. Instead I have to get a broom to sweep up the fragments and that is another war to tell about. They both chase the broom, grabbing it to play tug of war. Finally I see Montana dragging the broom disapearing into the family room with the Jack Russell in hot persuit. And when the day is ended, we all curl up on the sofa together to watch TV with a bag of chips and dip. The house is a wreck and my nerves are shattered, but the look on their faces tell it all. They are stretched out on the sofa waiting for their snacks and they look up at me and with their eyes say, "I am happy to be here with you and I love you." And guess what.... I love them too.
