Sirius of the Week for June 18 - 24, 2006

Dot is our star this week and her person mom and dad write,

"How cuddly, red, smooth-coated Dot come from a dapple mother and a wheat, long-hair father we'll never know. What we do know is she is tiny, adorable, sweet and full of kisses for everyone. She loves to greet her mom and pop each morning with squiggles and little whimpers and is so excited to go for her walks. As soon as "business is done", however, she quickly burrows back into bed until its time for her afternoon outing.

"Dot is perfect in every way except she has one bad habit which she is working on. She likes to fly off her mom and pop's bed. They tell her not to (or else she may hurt her back) and they even bought her a ramp -- however, she only knows how to use it going up. She is still learning how to use it for going down.

"When Dot came home to live with her current mom and pops and two kitty sisters, she hardly resembled a dachshund. She was a round little, pudgy ball with a short nose and long floppy ears and she weighed only 2.5 pounds -- yet she loved chasing her sisters. Unfortunately, they never chase her back. Now, they all get along great.

"Dot's mom loves taking pictures and home videos of Dot. You can see some of them if you visit her website at NanoPup. If you visit, please be sure to send Dot an email message. She loves having pen pals.

Have a happy day!
Dot's mom and pop"
