"Hi! My name is Ava-Jane. I am a two year old American Bulldog. I was rescued by my human
pa-pa. He knew that my human momma always wanted a bulldog, so when he saw what was
happening to me, he brought me home. Momma and pa-pa took lots of time to bring me back
around and now here I am. Good as new. I love to go to the beach and play in the water
(I can't swim, too top-heavy) and I LOVE people. They are my favorites. Oh... The other
little doggie you see is my adopted sister Eloise-Mae.
"We call her Ellie. She is a Boston Terrier. She is now 8 months old. She is the coolest.
I liked her from the second I met her. She was so tiny then! Momma was scared that I would
step on her an squash her. But I was really careful and very gentle.
"Ellie loves to run around the house as fast as she can in a circle. The circle is a big
circle she goes through 3 rooms! She is really fast. I can't catch her anymore. But we
wrestle all the time. We also love to cuddle and to chew together. Sometimes she makes me
mad because she takes my bone and then teases me with it.

Pasttimes: Ava - Riding in the car
Ellie - chasing our cat that thinks it is a dog, and biting things she knows she is not
supposed to bite.
"We live in Maine and Ellie is in for a shock this winter. She is already shivering.
Momma and Pa Pa bought her a coat. I try to rescue her from it, but Momma won't let me
bite it.
