Siriuses of the Week for May 1 - 7, 2005
This week we have two stars: Jessie and Casey.
Jessie is 4 and half years old. She is a mixed breed. Her canine-mom
was a small dog, so her person-mom thought that she would be small
also -- but Jessie is 45 pounds. Jessie is her mamma's Baby. Her
person mom says, "I have had other dogs, but none have had her
personality. She knows when I am sad, sick, or having a bad day."
Jessie loves to go for car rides, and she really enjoys going to the
ball field for a run. She likes to play with her sister Casey, and
she loves to play with her basketball.
Our other sirius is Casey, who is 2 and a half years old. She is a
Labrador/Shepherd Mix, and weighed 65 pounds the last time that her
person-mom weighed her last summer. Casey is the boss in the house.
She lets you know if there is anyone around at night time. She loves
to go for car rides and walks. She loves playing with her toys, tennis
balls, her basketball and her big sister Jessie and her cousin Holly
(a golden retriver). Casey also likes to sleep on her person-mom's bed.
She stills chews things when she is left home. Her mom writes, "Casey
thinks that she is a little lap dog; she always wants to be up in
your arms. This is difficult because she is so BIG. When I put on the
radio in the living room, Casey gets excited because she loves to
dance."
