Sirius of the Week for Dec. 26, 2004 - Jan. 1, 2005
Our submitter writes,
"Gerritt is an ISSR Shiloh Shepherd. The Shiloh Shepherd is a rare
breed of giant German Shepherd developed by Tina Barber. Gerritt is
originally from New York but now lives in Indiana with his Shiloh
brother, Konrad [whom we met a couple of weeks ago].
"Gerritt is about 8 months old in the photo. He weighs about 70
pounds and is 28 inches tall. He will grow to be around 125 pounds
and 31 inches!"
"Gerritt is a 'mama's boy' and he follows me everywhere.
He is eager to please and hates to get in trouble! He has a talent
for tracking, and when he goes outside he likes to track where the
humans have walked as well as squirrels, cats and other critters.
Gerritt loves to play tug and do bite work. His main activity is
pro-wrestling with his big brother and he normally wins!"
