Sirius of the Week for May 7 - 13, 2000.
This week we have the third photo in our series of Terriers. This
is Champion Warfox Jetta of Phoxquest, an adorable Smooth Fox Terrier.
In her career as a show dog, she has won 6 Best in Show awards,
a record for owner/breeder/handler (that is, someone who is all
three in one). She has won numerous regional and national specialties
even though she's not even 2 years old yet! And Jetta won
Best of Breed at the Columbia Terrier Association's recent show.
At home, Jetta is a typical Terrier. She loves to chase birds and
hunt squirrels. She also loves to play with her toy bird.
She loves to eat pigs ears and chicken livers.
Jetta is
something of a braggart, according to her person-mom, and very
vivacious. Jetta lives with 6 other dogs and she is the second
dominant one (she gives way to no one but her aunt).
Jetta is a very level-headed dog with a great personality. She
is the consumate show dog because she loves to show off and she
enjoys being in the show ring. She caught on to showing very quickly.
