Sirius of the Week for April 9 - 15, 2000.
Buckles is 5 years old and has lived with his family since he was a
little puppy. He's not little any longer! This St. Bernard weighs
168 pounds. He was the biggest puppy in his litter, so his family
knew he would be big. But Buckles still isn't as big as his father
who weighs 210 pounds.
When Buckles' family first saw him as a puppy, they knew he was the
one and he has fit right in ever since. He loves to lie down next
to his people, and he loves the attention he gets. He also adores
being petted. He loves kids, adults, and small dogs. He enjoys riding
in the car, walking, and romping.
Buckles eats Gravy Train, and he likes boneless, skinless chicken. He
also likes to chew on his toys. He has to have a hard rubber bone
that is indestructible because he can demolish everything else.
