Sirius of the Week for October 12 - 18, 2003
Our submitter writes,
"This is Salli, our 1-year old Sheltie. She's very shy around strangers but
she's our little princess. Yes, she's spoiled rotten and sometimes
absolutely goofy. She thinks thunderstorms are her cue to go outside
to play. She likes to talk to me even though my husband thinks we're
goofy when we have a conversation (she even whispers). She's very
gentle with our two rabbits, even though they don't appreciate her
attentions. She loves homemade treats, her tennis balls and her
frisbee. We have to talk in code when we talk about the frisbee or
she goes to where we store it, stares at it and cries to go out and
play. She really knows how to make us feel awful. She hates to go in
the car because she gets sick sometimes. I am so glad we got her.
She'll always be my 'baby girl'."
