Sirius of the Week for Mar. 26 - Apr. 1, 2000.
Teddy was born on January 22, 1987. He is a Golden Retriever-yellow
Lab mix. He lives on a 9 acre "farmette" on the Maryland-Pennsylvania
border near Westminster with Anita and Kenny. He was originally son
Michael's dog but as boys grow to men, dogs stay behind to keep mom
and dad company. Teddy's favorite hobby in days gone by was to chase
rabbits, cats, deer and anything else that encroached on his
"territory". Now that he is 13 years old, his hobbies include lounging
in the grass on warm spring days, lying next to the crackling
woodstove on cold days, and sleeping in his doggy bed or anywhere
else he thinks is comfy. He also keeps his human friends good company
and is always ready with a doggy smile when the humans come home.
Teddy weighs in at 92 pounds. His people also call him
"Sheddy Teddy" because he sheds so well. They will call him "Ted Ted
the Rock Head" for obvious reasons. He likes to be scratched under his
chin, and he loves car rides --- except when it involves going to the
vets at which time he becomes a mass of quivering jello.
