Sirius of the Week for April 6 - 12, 2003
This week, meet Hobbes, whose person writes,
"In December Hobbes joined our happy little family. Bailey (who
was Sirius of the week last December) now has a little brother that
she sometimes loves to pieces and other times (not too often) wants
to beat up. This seems like typical sibling rivalry. But, Hobbie
(one of his many nicknames, Mr. Hobbes, Hobbit, monster puppy) is a
real scrapper, he takes no guff from his big sister. He is one of
the most mellow puppies I have ever known -- he loves to be held.
Unfortunately, he cannot sit on my lap when I work at the computer
any more. He gets daily lessons from Bailey on how to steal Grandma's
glasses and chew them up and how to put the paws up on the counter
and attempt to steal food. I am afraid that we have canine
delinquents. But look at how cute they are -- who could resist these
two puppy faces?"
