Sirius of the Week for October 20 - 26, 2002
Meet Lucky, our star this week. His person-mom says,
"Lucky is a 7 year old Weimaraner. He is our baby, as you can see with
my towel wrapping him up after a swim at my aunt's pool. His dad is
Jazz who, at one time, was the number 1 "Weim" in the country.
The reason why Lucky has his name is because when he was 8 weeks old
he had a blood vessel growing abnormally in his chest cavity; the vet
said that without surgery he would die. The breeders paid for the
surgery and instead of showing him, they sold him to us as a house pet.
We got him when he was 6 months old from a well known Weim breeder in
Baltimore, Maryland.
Lucky's German given name is GemscosLucky Von Gaul. I know --
how weird!"
