Sirius of the Week for September 22 - 28, 2002

Ruadhri Fitz Darcy of Gatsby (Ruadhri, or "Rory") and Gatsby's Sir Lugh Bingley (Sir Lughaidhi, or "Sir Louie") are Cairn Terriers. Ruadhri is 3 years old and Sir Lughaidhi is 1.5 years old.

The picture of the dogs below was taken by their person mom the day she brought puppy Sir Lughaidhi ("Sir Louie") home. Ruadhri ("Rory") was acting cool, trying to ignore the puppy -- but it was clear that they had an immediate bond. Ruadhri is Sir Lughaidhi's uncle after all.

Ruadhri and Sir Lughaidhi love to chase rabbits, squirrels, and chipmunks. A favourite pastime of both little guys is looking out the back door in the hope that one of these creatures will pass by. They are dedicated to protecting the house from all varmits! Of course, they also love to chase each other! Cairn Terriers are very athletic and the boys love agility, lure coursing, tracking and Earthdogging.
