Sirius of the Week for January 20 - 26, 2002
Though he is now known all over the place through his website, Tiberius
the Pug Dog was destined for the local pound when his forever Mom
purchased him from a co-worker. He was 9 weeks old at the time.
Tiberius lives in Canada's capital city and is the founding host of the
Ottawa PugNic. Born in June 1998, he's now 3 1/2 and already getting a
bit of a grey beard.

He was named after the Roman Emperor Tiberius (but some people think he
was named after James Tiberius Kirk), and everybody asks "What do you
call him for short?"
He has many nicknames, including Ty, Ty-Ty, the Love Dog, Mr. Ty and
His Royal Tyness. But don't let that last one fool you -- he is the
sweetest, most people-friendly dog on earth.
Emotional about toys and other dogs, he's been known to whimper with
pure delight when meeting a new dog or getting a new toy.
He will eat...anything...except orange peels.
